Democracy is not a museum

Democracy is a ring. However, the pandemic years have produced the gradual consolidation of the idea (which is only a non-idea) that bitter and profiled intellectual confrontation is bad for coexistence and health as well as for one's head.

The narrative of the war in Ukraine has sacralized this non-idea.

Democracy understood as a museum does not grant space to the victims of a conflict; in fact, it is totally disinterested in them, no matter how much it would have us believe otherwise.

It celebrates, at best, fake good intentions.
